Visitors scan the QR code with their smartphone camera to start a video call to your phone. Their phone provides the camera and microphone, so the sign needs no built-in camera.

Do visitors need to download an app?

No. Visitors simply scan the QR code and follow the prompts in their phone’s browser to contact you.

Can I answer when I’m away from home?

Yes. You can see and speak with visitors wherever you have an internet connection, making it easy to respond to guests or give delivery instructions.

Does the sign need wiring, batteries or power?

No. The DoorVi sign requires no wiring, batteries or electrical connection. Both you and your visitor need an internet-connected smartphone to make and receive calls.

Can visitors see me during the call?

No. DoorVi uses one-way video with two-way audio: you can see and hear your visitor, while they can hear you but cannot see you.
